Home is Where the Heart Is
Kirschner has two labors of love located within an hour of where we live, Piedmont Environmental Center and The Haw River Trail. We have poured our hearts into designing new websites for each of these non-profit organizations, and continue to support them in many ways.
Growing Environmental Education
Piedmont Environmental Center is a protected 376-acre wooded preserve in the heart of our community. The naturalists there make environmental education fun for children and adults of all ages. Saving the trees hits very close to home in this rapidly developing area.
We designed their new website to be fun, informational, and easy to use. Not only are they getting rave reviews with the new format, they have also found the website takes a lot of pressure off of staff by making events and other information easy to find. We continue to grow this site with monthly upgrades and new areas of interest.

A River Worth Saving
The Haw River runs through the heart of the Triad and Triangle along the I-40 corridor. This part of North Carolina is becoming ever more vulnerable to development. The Haw River Trail’s goal is to preserve open spaces surrounding the river for everyone to enjoy. The HRT is especially committed to help protect the river itself, and with it an important source of water for the surrounding communities.
We were enthusiastic in designing and developing a website and brochure for this very important greenspace. The river is getting more attention and many are becoming attached to it. We hope this will make the difference in keeping it clean and clear.
